IK Multimedia ToneX Max is the flagship guitar and bass rig software, developed with advanced AI Machine Modelling technology. ToneX Max lets you play through some of the world's most desirable equipment with 1000 Tone Models onboard, comprised of 100 amplifiers and 50 pedal captures. Boasting indistinguishable tone, dynamics and response to the real hardware, you can customise the sound of any Tone Model with traditional controls you will find on the original hardware along with studio-quality processors such as a compressor and IK's latest award-winning reverb algorithms. Intelligent processing means ToneX Max also lets you virtually adjust the microphone of each Tone Model capture using the VIR cabinet technology to find the sweet spot with every sound.

Promising virtually unlimited tones for you to explore, you can expand your collection of Tone Models via ToneNET, an ever-growing collection of official IK and user-generated captures. Browse and demo a selection of historic, iconic or rare one-of-a-kind rigs and load them into your sessions. For advanced users, you can pair ToneX Max with the ToneX Capture (sold separately) to create virtual snapshots of your guitar or bass rig and playback through the ToneX software in indistinguishable quality. You can then share these with the world for all to hear.

Coming as a standalone desktop app, plug-in format and iPhone/iPad compatible app, you can take your tones with you wherever you go. Seamless sync between hardware, software and applications means that you can make adjustments to your sound on any device and see the changes happen in real-time across all your ToneX Max formats. ToneX can also be hosted inside Amplitube 5, the world's most powerful guitar and bass rig playground, opening up new opportunities for creating a customised signal chain with the most accurate rig captures available.
